After the beginning I wondered around for a couple of months, not knowing exactly who or what I was. That was until I met James, or Jamey as I call him, whose is a brilliant man (and I don't just say that because he also happens to be the love of my life). Jamey, though raised outside of any organized religion, as a beautiful view of God, which intrigued me as much as it made me curious.
We began to have talks about the church, what it could be, and who God is and I suppose it was those talks that finally pushed me forward into more active of a journey, a desire to actually seek out my questions rather than wallow about them. And so, with his support I set up this site and am going to keep a little journal of sorts here to record my progress.
I have at this point already posted the denominations section, which I kinda regret not writing down my thoughts along the way about, but I figure thoughts are thoughts and I'll be able to recall them if I really want to bad enough. What I'm going to start with now is other world religions. While I'm going through them all I don't want to just learn about them, but also try them on for size so to speak.
I don't mean to make it sound like browsing blue jeans at the mall or anything but the problem of wondering how so many people could come out with such a different view of God has always been very strange to me, and part of me is hoping to stumble across evidence that maybe they are all the same thing but under different names. Anyway, to start things off: Islam!
